Is there a way to stop bots from indexing into the Amazilla module. I've got one on one of my sites that is following every link in the Amazilla module which is effectively indexing amazon.com. 6 thousand hits yesterday and up to 7 thousand so far today. Evil or Very Mad

Congratulations - that's exactly what you want them to do.

However, is it a friendly bot (which one), or just some whacker stupidly trying to download your site?

I have actually found the module useful for screwing up the fools that download my site, as they get a whole heap of my amazon links Smile

It's one I never heard of - Become. Seems to be friendly as it's not affecting the site in any way that I can tell.

Become is friendly - a good bot that obeys the rules and regulates itself according to your system load Smile
