Hey Tim! Nice!
How were you able to add the graphics?

nevermind - I found the section in templates/promo.basic.php

I was editing in store.basic.php, but it looks like that's not used.

store.basic.php is used when there are no promo items, so it is still relevant - it's a confusing and rather useless template system.

I have 2 options for category images:
  • either, add an extra field and include that in the template,
  • or, provide for WYSIWYG which also resolves the image upload issue if you use SPAW.
  • At this stage, WYSIWYG is my preference.
btw, Pitcher's SPAW release for 9.1.1 also works just fine in 9.2.1 - I just need to find the minor bugfix I made to a javascript.

The loosely called, and grossly inadequate, Storez "template" system is in the process of being converted to a real template system, initially in the store and product display areas. That will eliminate the confusing double template issue and restore full layout control to the theme.

Server specs (Server OS / Apache / MySQL / PHP / DragonflyCMS):

I have Spaw setup on one of my sites, and it works good (just a pain to get working!)
A WYSIWYG editor for a category name seems a bit overkill tho...
It would be nice to have a category image upload option.

For v9.2.1 I'll at least make provision for the use of category images, with image upload later. After investigation, I just recalled that I already made provision in the db for category images, so it's just a matter of coding.

My main objectives are the templating, further db query reduction and tidying up more code.

I have eliminated the old system for the stores layout, so it's now a matter of templating what I have re-built.

Server specs (Server OS / Apache / MySQL / PHP / DragonflyCMS):

Major components now templated. Images can now be used, though not yet uploaded, with each store.
