testing censor - smiley central was the word.

Server specs (Server OS / Apache / MySQL / PHP / DragonflyCMS):

Here's a C&P of one used alot by my users... but it won't work here since html is not allowed. Wink

(and here's the bbcode version of it)

I may just go the route of turning off the html tags and fix any old posts as either a) I see them, or b) I get complaints about not seeing the image. Thanks for looking at it though!

Thanks NEMINI - html was enabled, but as safecracker has pointed out on Dragonfly, there was an issue with hardcoding in viewtopic where the html flag wasn't enabled in the decode_bbcode function - I've now modified that file here.

Now this shows that censor in preview (posting.php) works fine on html and bb code and text, but view (viewtopic.php) is missing html and bbcode url's.

So, safecracker, rather than go down any route just yet, how about we just "debug" the code so it all works, including your fix for viewtopic.

Anyway, it would be handy to fix the censor so this can't happen.

Sure thing! I'll put together a few tests today and see what I can come up with.

I did say the heck with it yesterday and turned off html tags in the forums. They should all learn how to use bbcode anyway. Plus, it forces the code to be XHTML compliant (and doesn't give a ton of links to sites like smiley central as bbcode uses 'nofollow').

Well, it pissed off the guy that is using a ton of smilies... but he's figured out bbcode now! Ah, atleast it isn't as easy to just click and insert them. He has to type each one out now (until he figures out how to add the bbcode mod to FF anyway!), so we're seeing only one or two now instead of 10 or 12 per post.

Anway, gotta run out for a bit, but will do a little testing later and report back! ( I started taking a look at Coppermine this morning too... there's been a few bug reports on that lately too... man, is that a fun one to try and trace! Wink )

both are missing if I apply censor code to line 1032 coz standard censor checks don't exclude urls
