Modify URL from "STOREZ" to actual store ID # Reply to topic

Ok so my client is only going to be creating ONE single store in his installation
so i see the ID to the store is

index.php?name=Storez&file=store&store_id=1

the problem is ( for him as he feels it )
When someone clicks his STORE link in the main menu
or when they end up at the
domain.com/DF/index.php?name=Storez location
they might not know what to do to actually enter the store because they have to click and additional link to get into it.

Since there's only ONE store, why cant the users be send directly into that instantly.

So theres my probo.

Im sure i need to edit something in the store.php or index.php or even one of the templete/something.php files

not a problem but

what would it be. Im looking for something that would be the equivenlant of "mainfile" or "storeURL" in the code i guess

hmm, regrettably that's the way it's designed for now - to allow for a single store setup requires a lot more work and a new template, more work than it's worth atm (I have my hands full).

One way of getting all products to display on the front page is to treat them all as promo items without time limits.

cool then
ill set the promo sections on them

Also i went into my .htaccess while waiting and changed the URL redirect so it no longer points to =STOREZ
and rather it points to =STOREZ......id=1

Thanks again big man
