[done] Store Pickup for multiple locations - see alternative Reply to topic

I am wondering if the Store Pickup option is assuming that there is only one location. Is there a way here to add Pickup Locations, perhaps with a google maps hookup? I would want people to be able to enter their location, and see how far away the nearest store is, be able to choose that store, and then click to get directions to that store where they would then be able to pick up the product when notified that it arrived. For now I guess I'll have to leave this option off.

Just a thought, but couldn't you just create another "Shipping Method" with "Pickup at store located at 123 Drive, Hollywood, FL"
?

Just reviewing requests - I'm afraid this one won't be done.

There is already a description area where you can provide guidance like directions or links to a separate Google mashup. For that matter, you could add a block to achieve that.

In fact, simply install DF Maps, create your own location map and reference it - can't get easier than that.

Do a test checkout on this site and see what I have in the Shipping Method section for Pickup.
