[solved] Can't find admin Reply to topic

Hi, I have installed this update and it went in fine and upgraded my older version 2.1. I can't see where you set perms so users can blog. I have existing blogs you can see them and edit them but cannot add new blogs. Says you require authorization but I cannot see where to set perms. After installing should I have an icon in the admin console for blogs?

I am missing something.....thanks for any help

Should be in your admin menu under "Informative" - if it's not there you may need to logout/login to admin.

I am not seeing an icon for blogs under Informative in my admin menu. I extracted the files uploaded them to my site and went into modules and did the upgrade. Said it was successful but I do not see the icon in admin menu to set perms. When I try to go to the url admin.php?op=blogs tells me this url or link does not exist....

I just upgraded my other site and the same problem no admin item for blogs. Went from blogs 2.0.1.0 to 9.1.1 and on both do not see admin item under Informative.

Without knowing your DF version, try emptying your website cache directory (leave the .htaccess file).

Thanks cleaning out the cache did it. Great update to this module thanks for the work on it. I am running DF 9.1.2.1

Any chance we can get better edit features in this build like a wysiwyg interface. Just asking....
