BizStore - start with a single category ? Reply to topic

I'm trying to figure this one out, I would like the store to open up in one product catagorie like this link under magazines.

The full store is nice but If I'm selling Magazines or just Baby stuff I would like the store to open in that link first. I figured out how to get the BizStore ctr link to work. way cool

p.s. You know how you added the buy and cart icons to the store search...It would be real cool to have them show up in the BizStore ctr block too...off to the right...

If you're doing that on a multi-site or multi-subdomain basis, the simplest way may be to add a rule to htaccess for that site so that "BizStore" automatically opens at Magazines or whatever.

I could restore some code that would provide an option to automatically open at a listing of specific products in a category, but changing code just for a category listing is a little restrictive when it can be done by htaccess.

I'll examine code for the extra buttons in the block as well - in hindsight, an admin option is needed to activate/deactivate those buttons site-wide.

Okay, figured it out.

Admin now has 3 options for primary display,
- normal main category summary
- display sub-categories for a specific category
- display a product listing for a specific category

Center block adjusted also - v9.1.3 will be packaged and released later today.
