Cannot be un-installed Reply to topic

Hello there!

I installed the IP-tracker and it cannot be un-installed. When I try my entire site goes down due to a database-error in includes/db/db.php trying to connect to the IPtracking.php-file or something like that.

Thought that you should know!

That would be because you did not remove the include from includes/counter.php

I'll try that then, thanks alot! I need to uninstall it to verify whether or not the module is interfering with the Your_Account module or not... otherwise an excellent mod!

There were some issues with placing the include in counter and I had used footer then, but that was in older versions of Dragonfly, like on this site. Here there are still issues coz I haven't updated for a while.

If it is of any interest I can add that it was Indeed your IPTracker module that interfered with the Your_account module. It made every profile you looked at take you to your own information.

Could be interesting to solve, eh? Thanks for a great mod anyway! Smile

Okay, a couple of small changes to a couple of files in the module, but still no good.

Changed instructions for the location of the include,
2. Insert the following line in footer.php, about line 35,
just after the lines commented out for MS-Analysis.
require_once('modules/IP_Tracker/iptracking.php');

Download the zip again and update files, index.php and iptracking.php.

So, does the IPTracker still interfere with the Your_Account module, or is this fixed?

I did a quick test and it does still interfere when you place it in counter - best to stay with previous advice and leave in footer Smile
