I have the same problem.The tables are created properly.The problem is that in modules administration.the module is shown as not installed but tables database are correctly created

After clicking "INSTALL" you will get a message,
"The module "WeatherHarvest" has been properly installed, have a blast using it!"
Since it is a large file, it is still updating your data base with information, as indicated in your browser status bar. At 941 kb, it is well within the size limit that your server can handle.
DO NOT click "Go" - just let the install do its job and when it's done, it will automatically redirect to the admin>>modules section by itself - then you should see that the "Uninstall" link is there.
If you have an incomplete install, delete those tables using phpmyadmin and start again.

Also detected small problem with the default blocks display - humble apologies. I should have checked the blocks on a new installation - as a wise person once told me, "Assumptions are the mothers of all f*** ups".
The attached blocks.zip contains the amended blocks so you don't have to download the full zip.

i did that and when i save my changes it does say something like "anonymous user settings changed" or something like that. then when i check it out in IE when i'm not logged in as a user or admin it still shows lee's summit.

aha yeah clearing my cache did it. i really hate doing that because i have a lot of stuff i need in my cache. so i always have to go in and do it site by site which is a pain in the butt. thanks phoenix that worked.

yep, I hate deleting cache too, same reasons - sometimes a "hard" refresh does the job, like holding down F5 for 10 to 15 seconds - another way is to disable the block, refresh page, and enable the block again, but that's a real pita. Lastly, because I use both FF and IE frequently, I open Opera to check it.

As the title says, I installed WeatherHarvest for a client, let in finish running the cpg_inst.php file, never clicked go, it simply redirected itself to maintenance mode page, and now I can't get back in.
I have cleared the cache on the site, and in the browser, and even went into the database and removed all the weatherharvest tables to no avail.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

edit: BTW, the site in question is a 9.0.6.1 site.

Installing WeatherHarvest doesn't have anything to do with Maintenance Mode or any other admin setting - you/your client must have changed something in admin for that to come into play. There simply is nothing in the install file that can change anything.
You need to restore your maintenance mode through admin, or by changing the setting in the cms_config_custom table.
