[solved] Treasury 9.3.3 paypal not returning Reply to topic

having recently installed and tested with paypal sandbox this works well ( it does what it should )

but when using paypal without sandbox i find that the payment goes through but no info is returned/collected by mysql database? thus having to manually add the donations after receiving the paypal email.

question is what could be wrong?
works in sandbox mode but not when sandbox is off.

i have doubled checked all settings but found nothing.

nothing

only when using sandbox i get the logs eg:

no not same address. i created a sandbox business email and buyer email.

my plan is to check with our sites paypal account this evening to see if or what happens if i change preference to auto return to site after sale, i do not hold the password as yet.

i will let you know if this fixes the problem

do you have any other suggestions ?

hmm, ipntreas.php?dbg=1 certainly suggests Treasury should work, so it is looking like a PayPal setup issue.

may be nothing but worth a mention. the log file produced by ipntreas.php?dbg=1

notice the payment date? no matter how often i do this the date and time remains the same 31-12-1969 19:00:00 !

but when using sandbox the payment date is what it should be ?

ok i have changed paypal to auto return after payment but still does not register with the data base.
on completion of transfer of money i am returned to out site and shown this:

* Name: Test User
* Show: Yes
* Item: Donation
* Amount: 0.77 GBP
* Status: Completed
* Date: 11-08-2010 10:02:16

* Total GBP: 218.37


that was not the donation i had made but the last payment received by paypal sandbox ?

i have also tried with server config with fopen=on and url include=on to no avail !

help don't know what to do now.

p.s. treasury did work previous to installing 9.3.3

i found the problem and it was paypal related. after checking the paypal account the IPN was turned off Embarassed
with this module working perfectly well in the past i expected this preference to be turned on.
