Summary: Best Use of Filming Technique Yet
Comment: I know many classic movie-goers and movie critics don't like the creative form of filming a movie where the viewers perspective is of someones camera. The movie the previous poster mentioned was Cloverfield, that was one of the firsts, and actually was pretty impressive in my opinion. Quarantine, however, built on that and by far made this the best use of the technique yet, and really did capture you in the film as if you were there. They exceeded my expectations of the movie, and used the technique as part of the plot, and one scene in particular (***SPOILER***) was very fresh and new by how the camera guy for the news station takes the camera and beats an infected person to death, and when he has killed the entity, he notices that blood has splattered the lens, so he turns the camera around, wipes the lens off, and behind his head, up on another floor in the room they are in, you can see the faint image of another infected being running around while they're clueless down below. This movie is definitely a renter if you're curious, and a buyer if you love these kind of movies. It will keep you in the action throughout the whole movie!

Summary: Just as if been makin' breakfast
Comment: O.K. I think it is time to DEMAND that film makers MUST disclose on the poster if the movie is filmed entirely with hand held camera. I watched the one about the godzilla like creature in New York, something "Field" . And I watched "Diary of the Dead" all filmed in head spitting, dizzying, nauseating hand held camera.
Enough already!
It may be cheaper, and you may be clever as to how you will work the concept into the plot. But just enough already.
I will WALK out of the next movie that uses this unacceptable technique and demand my money back!
