Customer Reviews:
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Job Comment: My wife and I were using T-gel and switched to this tea tree shampoo after hearing tea tree is good for dandruff. We both found it to work better than that nasty smelling T-gel. We ran out of this good stuff and used something we had hanging around the house left over from one of our guests, right away the dandruff came back.
From now I will make sure we don't run out.
It does not build up so you can use it continually. Love the stuff.
Customer Rating: Summary: good stuff Comment: I ORDERED THIS PRODUCT FOR MY HUSBAND, AND WE'VE BOTH BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS. VERY LITTLE FLAKING, IT REALLY SOFTENS HIS HAIR, AS WELL.I BELIEVE IT HAS DONE ALL IT PROFESSES TO DO. Customer Rating: Summary: Don't be fooled... Comment: There are two reasons one would buy this product. First, you have dandruff, dry scalp, or a similar condition. Second, you want to buy an Earth friendly, chemical free product.
My subjective 1 person case study found this product to be... lacking in the results department. It cleaned my hair fine, but I've never had worse dry scalp until I switched to this product. My dry scalp actually got WORSE once I started using this product.
My other issue with this product is strictly from a marketing perspective. With the pure white bottle, green type, and the brand name "Nature's Gate", one would expect the product to be organic and/or natural. It is neither. Sure it has tea tree oil and a lot of other extracts, but it also has many, many chemicals. The only thing "green" about the product besides the font color is the recycled bottle.
I understand that the product makes no claims regarding its organic or natural content, but take it from a guy who's worked in marketing for years: this is borderline shady.
My advice if you're looking for results: try a anti dandruff conditioner (Head & Shoulders has a good one)or, if you need a more aggressive product, try a coal tar based shampoo. The stuff stinks to high heaven but works like a charm.
