Customer Rating: Summary: Fun and useful clock Comment: I love my bobble/wobble Brookstone clock. The multiple features are all useful. I find it easy to use, just reach over the touch the top and you'll get four more minutes to sleep. Check what the date is with a couple pushes of the button on the back. Timer is something I use many times a day. My dad loves it too, but put something under it so it won't wobble. He likes the size and light on the time number; he doesn't have to fully wake up to check the time at night.
And it's cute and fun. I love its appearance. I've given it to almost everyone I exchange presents with. Customer Rating: Summary: A little Better Than a Pet Rock Comment: Brookstone was giving these away as a 'freebie' with a purchase so I said "cool!" Uh, not really. This clock sounds like a fun idea - it activates when you put your hand near it. It has several modes including time, date, countdown timer and alarm. Whats not to like? But in fact it is near useless. If you have it set to auto-change modes you have to cycle through all the modes to get the time. If it is set to manual then you have to lift it and fool with tiny buttons on the back. So there it sits, on the counter near where I opened the package. Sort of like a pet rock. Only a little (very little) more practical. Customer Rating: Summary: A different type of alarm clock with other features Comment: cute, different, just a little too sensitive to the touch, and a little difficult to understand set up
