Editorial Review:
The Takamine Natural SeriesAcoustic sound set free. The Takamine Natural Series was conceived to give you the biggest and widest acoustic sound possible. Solid cedar tops, solid mahogany backs, a thin satin finish and no pickguard anything that could possibly impede the vibration of the soundboard was purposely left out.The theory works. Naturals are so alive with sound that they nearly jump out of your hands. The clean and simple approach of the Naturals has been imitated by other makers, but nothing yet has compared to the purity of style and sound of the original.CT4B PreampA warm-sounding 3-band graphic with an extremely stable and accurate chromatic tuner. Great for non-standard and open tunings....
Customer Reviews:
Customer Rating: Summary: Great sound and great value Comment: I bought this as a second guitar to my Bourgeois that I won't take out unless the weather is perfect. I tried many others over my 30+ yrs of playing and am very impressed with the clarity and woody tone. Does it compare with the $5,000.00 guitars? - well almost actually. Plugged in is where it excels. Its sound is full and consistant with easy controls. It doesn't have that monstrous percussive sound that so many acoustic guitars beat your ears with. I prefer a shiny finish so I polished mine to a gloss. I'd also like a few fretboard markers on top, but it gave me the opportunity to customize it a bit with my own. Try this guitar if you need a very acoustic sounding guitar for gigs. The price is right and the tone is really nice.
