Editorial Review:
From Executive Producer Quentin Tarantino (Grindhouse Presents: Death Proof) and Writer/Director Larry Bishop (Mad Dog Time) comes this lean, mean mayhem machine - fully loaded with bikers, babes, and booze. Michael Madsen (Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2), Eric Balfour (TV's "24") and legendary "Easy Rider" Dennis Hopper are part of a wild motorcycle gang bent on avenging the death of one of their own. With Vinnie Jones (The Condemned) as the crazed arrow-wielding rival gang leader, Hell Ride is a savagely enjoyable good-time where the women are hot, the bikes are even hotter, and the action never stops! The quirky characters at Crane, Poole and Schmidt are at it again, bringing the most outrageous and often times improbable cases to court.

#Theatrical Trailer Customer Rating: Summary: Great Popcorn Flick Comment: Tarantino didn't just produce this film, he helped edit it. This is a GREAT popcorn flick and has excellent production values and very sexy babes. Fun, Fun, Fun... Customer Rating: Summary: Great Elements Never Really Gel Into Conhesive Whole Comment: HELL RIDE has everything a great biker flick needs--dirt, bikes, broads & gratuitous violence, swearing & sex, plus cameos from some of the genre's geatest stars--however, it never really gels on screen into a real biker epic. For one thing, it's too "self-aware" and striving too hard to be hip. I could have done with more high-speed bike action and less posing against desert skylines from the director/star. Hopper & Carradine are great in their little pieces, as is Balfour. Madsen...is Madsen. And the plot was needlessly complicated/muddled, with at least three (count 'em, 3!) flashbacks to the exact same event. And there's a macguffin/plot hole at the end that you could ride several choppers through. It's okay for what it is--an homage--but it's in no danger of unseating any of the real classics of the genre. (Also, I noticed that these biker dudes party with women who bear no resemblance to any biker chicks I've ever seen!) Customer Rating: Summary: Larry Bishops tribute to biker movies of 30+years ago Comment: Hell Ride certainly has a feel of the biker movies that were made between 1965 and 1975. Larry Bishop who cast himself in the lead role has achievied success in paying homage to these old biker flics, some he made himself. I enjoyed watching Hell Ride, but it did seem to be a little out of place, since this is 2008.So that being said,I'm giving this one 3 stars. If Bishop made this in 1967,I think I would have liked it more(not that I didn't enjoy watching it). Customer Rating: Summary: Tarantino Wannabe Comment: I was really looking forward to this movie from the trailer i saw earlier in the year and the cool cast. However this film has a nonsensical plot, wooden acting and is flat out boring. The writer/director/star of this self indulgent tripe (Larry Bishop) seems to think that simply putting nudity, drugs, violence and bikes into a movie will make it cool and worth watching. Wrong. This is nothing more than a vanity piece from a man who loves nothing more than trying to look and act tough whilst getting to feel up as many skanky women as he can. I love many B movies but this is try hard and not worth your time and money.
