Summary: FABULOUS SURPRISE
Comment: I teach online college courses, and I was eager to find voice recognition software that works and would cut down on my time in the virtual classroom. I'd been reading all about Naturally Speaking Preferred 10 for some time, but I was afraid of it because of some of the reviews I'd read, even though I have two colleagues who use it and praise it. But, today, I bit the bullet and bought it along with a comfortable headset, and when I loaded it, it went just as planned and I was trained and dictating within the hour. It's fabulous, and I'm sure it will be a huge time saver for me. It's too bad for those who tout this software as "useless" and "unworthy" because I find it wonderful. It's definitely a keeper for me, and I recommend it highly.

Summary: Saves A lot of Time and benefits those with Carpal Tunnel Syndrom
Comment: This product woks well and better then I expected. It saves me a lot of time and is great if you have carpal tunnel syndrom or would like to prevent it. I do have to correct the mistakes it makes, but they are few and require very little typing.

Comment: Did not know if this would work for me replacing version 9 but this version went back to my document files and learned all the medical terms in all my dictations obviating the need to spend $1200 for the Medical version. It is much smoother than 9 , makes fewer mistakes requiring correction but still requires proof reading. Recommend for all medical offices and works well in my Medical Oncology practice.

Summary: I should have listened to the critics
Comment: Worked fine for two weeks. But then wanted to completely be retrained every day before it would do anything. Free knowledge-base fix for error message would not solve the problem. Tech support wanted money up front to even talk with or email me. Cheesey company. Beware. I am going back to the free voice recognition package on Vista.

Comment: I love this software. It was quick and easy to train. After about 40 minutes it was ready to use, and it continues to learn and get even more accurate. I am still learning commands to toggle between programs. I would recommend this product to anyone who can't type as fast as they speak.
