Comment: Note on this desk top is that when used with other units from this product line it is at standing height. Very thin laminate scratches easly and is hollow in center so no heavy work can be done on it.

I created a wall unit for my scrap room. The unit had 15 cubes plus this desk and ended up costing about $700 after shipping. About 25% of the cubes had broken corner or pealing laminate nothing that effects functionality but certainly not the quality considering the price. But repackaging and returning was not worth the hassle. Assembly is a long process. Not hard but expect to spend about 20 minutes for each unit then about couple of hours screwing the units together to make a storage center. They should be secured to the wall with an earth quake strap after you get them all screwed together. Just getting the screws out of the packaging takes a good 5 minutes. My guess is you could probably spend the same and get much better quality just talking to your local cabinet maker. The product line comes with a desk top which is nice to have but it is hollow in the center and I would not want to be banging eyelets on it and it is also standing height and not desk height.
