Editorial Review:
Cloth diapering is making a comeback and for good reason. They're more convenient - Velcro buttons and snaps have replaced pins, and in place of old-fashioned rubber panties, the new cloths use water-resistant covers. Secondly, they're cheaper!! Parents can take care of their baby's needs straight through toilet training for a total cost of less than $300, whereas disposables may run up to $3,000. Bum Genius Twilight Cloth Diaper is the market's first choice.

Customer Rating: Summary: A great, trim diaper! Comment: I have tried many brands of cloth diapers. I really like the Bum Genius 3.0 because I have had no leaks with this diaper. I use it for my 18 pound 6 month old. The liner is much more absorbant than the liner included with the Happy Heiny's (I like those, but have had leaks). The suedecloth that touches baby is very soft. I like that the elastic on the back is padded and doesn't leave lines on my baby. This is almost as easy as a disposable diaper. My husband will put this diaper on baby, but not the ones with a separate cover. All in all, a great product and it can fit my 2 year old, too! Customer Rating: Summary: Great cloth diaper option! Comment: Overall, this is a great diaper. They are not bulky as some other cloth diapers are. Also, they dry very quickly. The removal liner contributes to the quick drying time and also seems cleaner, as it can agitate freely in the washer. They are also for all size babies, so a good fit is ensured. I have a toddler, and they do a great job. I have not used for a younger baby. Customer Rating: Summary: Not bad but there is better on the market Comment: My wife and I are expecting our first. I know that by saying that most of you have just written off everything that I am about to say. So be it.
My wife and I are not uber tree-huggers or anything like that. We like to do things that are ecologically friendly but we are ultimately looking for a product that is manageable and economical. If we can spend $200-$300 hundred dollars now and not have to pay a couple of thousands dollars over the first few years that just makes fiscal sense.
We ended up looking at the one-size fits most variety of cloth diaper and came down to this product and one other. The cotton liner was okay. It was not overly soft but it is better than the old cloth diapers that I had as a child. The snaps on the front seem secure and allow it to grow with a child. The biggest problem I had is with the Velcro fastener. The image is correct. The Velcro is on the smaller side and my wife and I ultimately chose a different product that has a more Velcro surface area.
All in all it is not a bad product. The liner is not as soft as some of the other products available. The Velcro is not as large as some of the other products have. In my opinion this product is still easier to use than a cloth diaper with a separate diaper cover but there are better products out there.
