Comment: it's the BEST. I have worn contacts for the past 45 yrs and frequently had difficulty with cleaning contacts, whether gas perm or soft. An optometrist told me about Clear Care a number of years ago and it's all I will use now. Not always to find so I do my best to "stockpile." Target house brand seems to work well also.

Summary: If you are sensible enough to follow instructions, this product is safe, gentle, and effective
Comment: Clear Care is a non-irritating cleaning and disinfecting solution. Obviously, you must read and follow the instructions--do not put it directly in your eye or use it to rinse a lens before putting it in your eye. It's a good idea to keep a bottle of saline solution handy to re-wet or rinse lenses, to store during a quick nap, and so on. But if you can handle that small responsibility, you will enjoy the gentlest, least irritating lens cleaner available. The difference between this and regular "all-in-one" lens cleaners is like night and day.

Summary: For Sensitive Eyes
Comment: This is a wonderful product. Unlike most contact solutions, it is not full of harsh chemicals. Each box comes with a cup and disc that must be used with the product. This is stated very clearly on the bottle and box. I am allergic to the chemicals in most solutions and this is the only product I have found that is gentle and pure. It does a fantastic job and my lenses are always clean and comfortable.

Summary: Needs better warning label
Comment: I'm surprised they're allowed to sell this.

Putting one of my lenses in after soaking it in this product overnight was the most painful eye experience I've ever had. It burned so badly that I had to sit down to recover. My eye turned completely red and even now, 7 hours later, the eye is still irritated, red, and hurts.

I understand after reading up that using the enclosed case would have avoided the issue. The bottle comes with a label saying "Use only lens case provided"; however, I assumed that using the product in my own case just wouldn't clean the lenses as well. I would never have thought it could cause severe pain. They sure should have a more appropriate label. After this experience, I sure have no desire to use this again.

Comment: If used without knowledge of proper use, it severely burn your eyes. Do not give to kids for sure and I would avoid using it as an adult for risk of using as wetting drops.
