Summary: Love at first sight?
Comment: It may be too soon to say since I just used this for the first time but I think I'm in love. This is it! I applied this product to DRY hair yesterday, slept all crazy on it and I keep running this morning to the mirror in awe. My curls are soft, incredibly shiny, elongated, well-defined and on top of that there is no dry, crunchy white stuff. I can hardly wait to try this on wet hair. A little (1-2 tbsp/section) goes a very long way- I barely used any and it also played well with other moisturizers/gels. I also like the scent which is pleasant but not overpowering (interpret: will not compete with your perfume). I may have to reduce the use of MJ products to moisture only. So I'm telling everyone about my new love- it is worth every single penny.

Comment: Don't do it. I am natual and this product did not do well on my hair at all. sticky and no curls. i was watching reviews from a utube and though, ok i'll try it. Wish i could get my money back. There are too many inexpensice products that work better like garnier curl cream. I have a lot of aloe vera plants around here to that i am going to try since that is the main ingredint.

Summary: A Hair Routine Staple
Comment: The Curling Custard is just amazing. It's like a slimy gel that really sets my curls into proper clumps. You do have to use a healthy amount of it though - I use four different quarter-size dips to get all of my hair. It takes some practice to get the right amount.

I give it four stars because I have to use so much and because, no matter where you buy it, it's expensive.

Comment: I have 4a-4b hair and I must say that this stuff is the best when it comes to giving my hair definition. I like this more than mixed chics leave in or the Aveda b-curly leave in. To start, I part my hair into four sections and from there make smaller sections as if I am applying a relaxer to my hair. I use just enough product to coat my fingers. I smooth it on my hair and use my fingers to comb it through. What ever you do, DON'T comb your hair as you are applying the product, otherwise you will have freeze. Also, have a water bottle near buy to wet the sections of your hair that become dry before you have applied the product. The best thing about this product is the fact that you don't need to reapply it daily. Just spray a little water in your hair in the morning and then you are set to run out of the door. There are a number of youtube videos that allow you to see first hand the best way to apply this product.

Summary: Product has a gooey feel
Comment: I have tried this product 4 times. Although it does define your curls and give good shine, I just cannot get with the gooey feeling while your hair dries. I have applied the product with my hair soaking wet & semi wet, and just cannot get rid of the gooey feel. The feeling gets worse when you try to blow dry (you may not always have time to air dry). If you like your hair to feel silky while air drying (or if you have a significant other that may touch it while wet), I would not recommend.
