Customer Rating: Summary: Hmmm... Comment: The pair I got actually seem like two different sized gloves, but they aren't too small, the one is just a little bit bigger. The first time I put the gloves in the microwave for the 1 minute it recommends the bean stuff started making popping and hissing noises after 45 seconds so I opened the microwave up and got a nice whiff of really burnt popcorn. I took the heating packets out carefully and smoke was coming off of them and the gloves still have a burnt smell even after I washed them. I live in Japan so I know my microwave isn't too powerful since here they run at 100 V/50 watts here rather than the American 120 V/60 watts making all American electronics run slower and cooler. Customer Rating: Summary: not very practical Comment: The warming packets are kind of heavy and awkward to carry around on the backs of your fingers, plus who wants to have to remember to microwave their mittens on their way out? Another thing to have to do first thing in the morning turned out to be pretty inconvenient. I'd rather they just be made of warmer material in the first place. Also, I just wear them commuting to and from work, not out working or playing or anything too strenuous or destructive, but they've already developed holes in the seams. They're not too bulky like some of the warmer, more durable, knitted convertible mittens, but they don't really do the job either.
