Summary: Great toy, but sent wrong items
Comment: As with all the Lego sets, this one is fun to put together, but often snaps apart when playing with it. However, it is part of the fun to put it back together again. Also, we were sent the pieces for the Oiler car and the pieces to an Indiana Jones helicopter instead of the Mach 5 car. There were no more Mach 5 cars available, so Amazon did refund us our money.

Summary: Great toy to build and rebuild!!!
Comment: Not only did i buy this toy for my 4 yr old son and 6 yr old daughter, but it bonded my husband with his kids as well. First time around my husband loves to look at the manual and build the original and my kids love to change it up.

Previous purchases include the king's castle siege, and ALL the mini racers collection (also highly recommended).

Summary: Easy to build, Fast Fun.
Comment: We got this Lego set for my young son. As the mommy, of course, I had to build it for him. I've done several of Lego sets from space stations to fictional Mars ships. I found this set the easiest and the coolest Lego set to build.

This set comes with two cars to build: The Mach 5 and Snake Oiler. Each car has it's own matching driver. Once built, the cars are of decent size, sturdy, and is a lot of fun for my son to play with. He can take off the wheels and put them back on again for his own pit stop action fun. He also customizes the Mach 5 car on his own and call it the Mach 6. For my son, this Lego set is a true winner.

Pros:
- Easy to build. Both cars are built similarly, so once you've done one the second one will come together a lot faster.
- The final build is quite sturdy, unlike other Lego sets that fall apart too quickly during play. Minimal pieces fall off during play with this set.
- They roll!
- I really like the fender pieces! Cool new shapes to play with. Adds to the imagination towards future Lego builds.
- Lego quality all the way.

Cons:
- The typical frustration of reading a Lego build instruction manual. It's 99% visual. While not impossible, some of the instruction photos don't make it clear that something was added until you realize something is wrong a few picture panels later. I found it frustrating when I realized a missed putting in a part. A little more detail (like arrows pointing to the newly added pieces!) would be appreciated.
