Editorial Review:
Imaging pros expect a lot from their equipment and can't afford to have a component limit their productivity or creativity. That's where Kingston's CompactFlash Elite Pro memory cards come in. The newly redesigned Kingston CompactFlash Elite Pro offers a minimum sustained write speed of 133X. The Elite Pro is designed specifically to help advanced amateur or professional photographers get the best performance from their high-end imaging devices and applications. No matter how fast you work, CF Elite Pro can keep pace. With its ultra-fast transfer rates of 25MB/sec. read and 20MB/sec. write, and up to 16GB capacity, you can capture more continuous, high-resolution images in less time with the Elite Pro than with traditional CompactFlash memory cards. And when it's time to transfer your largest files, watch them fly your production workflow will be more efficient than ever.

Summary: Faster than some sandisk ultra and extreme III
Comment: I used to use Sandisk Ultra and Sandisk Extreme III ( 20mb /s data transfer rate with my Nikon 200. This is a little bit faster than the extreme III version). But the extreme III 30 mb/s new version is at par with this one. I have been using kingston and sandisk for a long time now and they are pretty reliable. I do a lot of of still photography and these cards never failed me.

Summary: 4GB card works in Nikon D70
Comment: After some research I selected this 4GB CompactFlash card from Amazon for use in my Nikon D70 DSLR. Although the camera manual doesn't mention this card as being supported, tests have shown that it works great. I can now shoot 700 images in Raw mode. And the card is fast enough for burst shooting in Raw. For my purposes, having 700 shots available means I can go a whole night of D70 astrophotography without needing to change the card. Great product, great price.

Summary: great so far
Comment: so far the card has worked great! I have not maxed out the card and tried to put on the computer, however the amount of pictures that I have put on the card, downloaded without a problem. The cost was a great saving and the shipping time was wonderful! Will def. use them again and thank you, as I used this card when I went to Bonaire!

Summary: It's not a Lexar but it's VERY good!
Comment: I would prefer to use a Lexar CF for the speed and reliability but their priced so high it cuts into my lens budget! I've used Sandisks and found them a good solid card also but I was really leery of using a Kingston on a professional job. Speed is very important to me but also I want a very reliable card.

I shoot with a Nikon D300 using a D70 as a backup. I started using 4GB Kinston CF cards this summer - I just couldn't ignore the great price and solid reviews. I use cards in less than ideal situations, a thunder storm, dusty dirty days, crazy hot days - so far not in snow... I have filled, downloaded and reformatted the four cards I purchased this year at least 10 times each. I've never had a card so much as hiccup. For the price it's five stars!
