Comment: This was a gift for a (4) year old girl, and she loves it. I didn't really think about why there are (2) ice cream scoops, but her friend, (also 4) came over, and both girls had a wonderful time swapping different "tastes" of ice cream. The magnets are surprisingly strong, and the girls were actually stacking ice cream (4) scoops high. Another Melissa and Doug A+ toy.

Comment: The 2 yr old I bought it for LOVED IT. She sometimes doesn't use the scoop, but did grasp the idea of it. Plays with it both ways. Very durable, as it was dropped over and over again. Summary: Lots of fun!
Comment: My 3 year old received this gift for Christmas and loves it! It's a quality toy as you expect with Melissa and Doug. It gets dropped alot on our hardwood floor, but has held up just fine. You can stack multiple flavors on each cone. It gets played with alot, we've "eaten" alot of ice cream around here in the last few days.

My only complaint would be that I wish it had a lid for the container! I've had this same problem with other Melissa and Doug toys, they have a nice storage box but no lid. I also think that it would have been nice to offer two more cones, instead of one of the scoopers.
