These factory manufactured CD's come in paper sleeves with the CD's containing the song titles. The music plays without the lead vocals and the lyrics are displayed on screen if you use a Karaoke CD&G player. These songs are not preformed by the original artists but are VERY GOOD re-creations. Comment: The previous post in incorrect and inaccurate. Many US manufacturer's ( Georgia Brown, All Hits, Idol Maker, Quik Hitz Etc..) put the product out in plain paper sleeves direct from them. Also many manufacturers have sold over-stock to dealers on " spindles" with no packaging AT ALL. How a disc is sold or package has no bearing on how it was manufactured. Music Maestro sold 1000's & 1,000's of discs in "RAW" format with no packaging to dealers & distributors. The "Club Pack" series never came in jewel cases, rather they came in wallets or plastic cases. So these series were sold as overrun with no packaging on multiple occasions. One should always make sure they know what they are talking about before they attempt to speak as an "authority" on a subject

Summary: HOW TO SPOT A COUNTERFEIT KARAOKE CDG???

There has NEVER been a karaoke manufacturer located in the United States that has sold their products in blank white CD sleeves. Any sellers claiming they're selling new items in blank white CD sleeves are selling illegal counterfeit copies and should be reported.

Music Maestro karaoke CDGs have been the most counterfeited discs since the beginning of the CDG format in the United States almost 20 years ago. Music Maestro was located in the city of Santa Monica in California and were in business for over two decades before they closed down.

If you get any new Music Maestro CDGs in paper sleeves, ask for a refund and report them for selling counterfeit CDGs.
