Customer Reviews:
Customer Rating: Summary: my little pony now and then Comment: my daughter loves anything my little pony related, and actually in our closet in her room she still has playsets put up for safe keeping.
Very durable plastic, great value, love their innovation. Customer Rating: Summary: Durable, colourful, but not as variable as some of the ponyville houses Comment: Another bright product for the ponyville set, but not one of the best items available. We have most of the houses that are available in the ponyville range - this one for nearly a year now. There are no problems with its durability - it is as hardy as the others - which is quite good as it has lots a few moving parts - such as the bit on top which gives the ponys rides.
Its extremely colourful - a bit overwhelming really and not quite as cute as some of the other piece. The most whimsically lovely was the first that came out - the cafe which is shaped like an icecream - and Pinkie pies balloon house.
The Durability of the houses in Ponyville is excellent, the only peice we have ever had problems with is the Rainbow Dash house
As far as fun goes, this is not that fun a place, Pinkie Pies Balloon house and the Teapot Palace are far more fun - but the best one of all at the moment is the wonderful amusemnent park which has a ferris wheel - as well as other bits and peices. If you are looking for something to thrill your little girl, I would get that instead!
So, all this to say, it is a good, and fun durable addition to the collection, ify ou are collecting them, but on the other hand, if you are only looking for one present for your little girl, go for something with music in it (pinkie pies house or Teapot palace, or the Amusement park). Customer Rating: Summary: Fun toy for LittlePony lovers! Comment: My husband and I purchased this for our daughters - it's been a huge hit!! It's not really an educational toy, but they love little ponies and have played with this for hours on end!
With a large family and all the handling, it is holding up well, and is fun for lots of ages! A big hit at our house!! Customer Rating: Summary: Party Never Stops at Pinkie's Place Comment: Pinkie Pie has her own balloon house and now is the owner of Ponyville's roller skating rink. The designs for all the My Little Pony "Ponyville" houses have been exceptional and this doesn't break that rule. This looks like a birthday cake with balloons decorating the house and what looks to be a candle and flame at the top. It comes with one pony, Pinkie Pie and some assorted birthday themed tiny objects - cake, table, and a scooter that has rolling wheels she can ride (the pony has a hole in one "foot" that lets it sit on the peg that holds it onto the scooter so she doesn't fall off).
It's very cute, very pink and cleverly designed.
HOWEVER, three complaints with the house.
ONE - it's made of a thinner plastic than the heavier Teapot Palace and Balloon House. It has not been a problem so far, but it seems more breakable, especially the part that opens on the bottom into the skating rink.
TWO - Hasbro made a set of "bumper cars" that came with two ponies that were sold seperately. The bumper cars SHOULD have been a part of this package because they obviously GO with the house, instead of the scooter (which seems like they had a surplus of with other Ponyville mini playsets so they threw one in here). Its just not as fun or unique without the bumper cars.
THREE - Pinkie Pie's rollerskates do not roll. The wheels are molded on plastic. Which is a bummer.
Buy it for the house, but don't expect to have the complete experience without the bumper cars. Both my kids enjoyed this for awhile but not as much as more interactive toys that have more bells and whistles (like the Teapot Palace).
