Summary: They Work, However... Comment: I hate to give these only 3 stars because they really do help me a lot. I got them for "morning" sickness relief and was extremely scepticle. I really thought this had to be some sort of plasibo affect but they really do work. I am able to work and go about my day without feeling like I'm going to throw up. However they are so uncomfortable it is really hard to keep them on. they are either too tight or too loose and I can't find the happy medium. The type of materiel that they are made out of is really uncomfortable as well. I'm getting a pair of Bio Bands to see if they would be more comfortable. Customer Rating: Summary: works Comment: Overall I like it. It definately works for me for my Mr. Toad-like bus-to-metro commute. Before I could barely make the ride without ending up nauseous. Now I can even read with no problems. Plus, it's cool looking, at least the black one that I got is. Cons: The "adjustment" feature doesn't work too well. It's inexplicably difficult to turn, but if you force it, yes, you can adjust the pressure slightly up or down. The operative word though is "slightly." I for one cannot notice a difference in the pressure, although I can see the bump move a bit in or out. Also, it is little awkward to put on becuase the strap can pop off the button while you are trying to thread the strap through the keeper. Customer Rating: Summary: Does provide some relief, but is flimsily made. Comment: As far as the relief offered, it does definitely seem to provide some relief. I know that is going to vary from person to person, so I'm not making my primary judgement based on that. It's comfortable enough (although you will want to give the pressure point a break after a while) and can be worn for extended periods of time without having to remove them thanks to the plastic design (most other comparable products seem to be made of cloth of some kind). My main problem with the PsiBands is that they are very flimsy. After one day the adjustment dial began to come away from wristband. It's basically just a piece of plastic held in by a groove. The problem is that when you go to adjust it, sometimes it will come out of the groove. Not only does that seem cheap, but I'm pretty sure it minimizes the effectiveness of the bands since the "activator" (the part that applies pressure to the Nei Kuan pressure point) is now angled. After another day it came off completely. There's a small piece of plastic inside that basically adjusts the extension of the "activator" and it fell out completely. Fortunately it's easy enough to put back together, but it was a bit disappointing, to say the least. As far as functionality, it seems to do what it's supposed to do, though not as dramatically as I had hoped in this case. That said, any relief is welcome, so my real disappointment was with the build quality of the wristbands. I'm not going to be pleased with any purchase that starts falling apart after a day or two. Customer Rating: Summary: "Morning" Sickness Savior Comment: I am 7 weeks pregnant and the "morning" sickness (really, it's all day long) is unreal. It feels like motion sickness on land - ugh! I bought these last Friday, got them Saturday morning (thank you, Amazon Prime!) and felt relief almost immediately after strapping them down. I can finally move around without feeling queasy! Customer Rating: Summary: It works Comment: In the recent road trips, I didn't drive, while keeping my little children busy I started having very bad motion sickness. I remembered we were offered the wrist bands in a sea trip and we were all fine. So I decided to try this one. It worked. Wearing this wrist band is not comfortable for 8 hours but it did save me from nausea and vomiting.
