Summary: Nice, but smells weird
Comment: Like all Poraso products, this smells like old people. I'm really not into the scent at all, but the cream does make your face very tingly and cool feeling. It's real nice after getting out of the shower.

Comment: I use this with proraso shaving cream and after shave balm, and Merkur Futur razor and shaving brush. My shaving is a pure pleasure. I'm not sure if the pre cream is a big part of it, but I sure have a nice and good looking skin after shaving. It's also scary long lasting, I'd guess a jar lasts for at least a year, probably a year and a half.

Summary: what i expected from proraso
Comment: A lot of you guys that buy a lot of shaving products from amazon have probably seen my reviews on a lot of these products. Let me just explain that for years I have shaved and have never been satisfied with the cheap results. Bad results equals bad confidence and of course bad looking skin. Ever since I switched to traditional shaving and have gotten the results I have dreamed about, I want to help other men achieve this too.

I am all about recommending quality products that help guys look good and feel good about it. I also understand that some products that work for me might now work for you, but like the old saying goes you will "never know unless you try it". So here is the review

I bought this stuff and use it underneath the proraso eucalyptus and menthol cream. It does make a difference.

I usually wet my face real good then massage this cream in a leave it for a few minutes. Then lather up normally and proceed to shaving.I'm not sure if it softens the hair or what since this pre shave cream does not appear very slick like you would expect. I do not know how it works, I just know that it does.

I recommend it. It feels excellent on the skin and helps protect your skin. I recommend all proraso products

Summary: For a great shave
Comment: I have curly hair and have tried hundreds of dollars worth of pre/post shaving creams and oils and have never found the correct solution. Proraso has a very cooling almost numbing affect when applied under my shaving cream (always mug and brush) has redused breakouts and ingrown hairs. I would recommend this product highly. I cannot shave without it.
