Editorial Review:
Isotoner® therapeutic gloves help control hand pain and hand swelling by providing gentle, even compression. Their unique design provides natural pain therapy and comfortable hand support for sore hands, sore fingers, and sore joints due to arthritis, repetitive motion or hand injury, as well as post-surgical rehabilitation. Open-finger design allows for freedom of movement.

All Isotoner arthritis glove seams are designed to the outside of the glove and away from pain sensitive areas like the base of the thumb.

To find your size, follow these steps with a soft measuring tape:

Step 1: With hand extended flat, loosely loop your measuring tape around the circumference at the knuckles.

Step 2: Keeping the measuring tape around the knuckles, make a fist with you hand.

Step 3: Adjust tension to match how you prefer your gloves to fit.

Step 4: Record circumference measurement in inches. The sizing chart below is a general pproximation that can be used to assist in glove sizing.

TIP: You should generally choose a glove one size smaller in therapeutic than you would in a regular cold weather glove, such as those made from leather. You want to be able to have a sufficient amount of compression to experience relief without restriction.

Summary: Isotoner Therapeutic Glove
Comment: Isotoner Therapeutic Glove is very helpful for post operative swelling and pain. I wish I could have ordered a small size, but it was not avaiable.

Summary: Worthwhile investment
Comment: I'm always looking for a non-drug aid for my arthritis. I mainly use them while sleeping were it is worse first thing in the morning. I have found an absolute difference. It's amazing how something this simple can have such a tremendous effect. Highly recommend.

Summary: Amazing gloves
Comment: For arthritis hands, these gloves are an excellent comfort item. The free fingertips allow you to retain maximum function while wearing gloves.

Summary: Not Enough
Comment: First, the mail order company sent these quickly, no problem with them.
I looked around at several sites for information on this product. You can get better pricing if you do your research. Most sites have some sizing info but not enough and not detailed. I do not have 'teeny' hands and have long fingers with a big palm. Ring size is 6 1/2. I measured and came up with a 'medium' recommendation, picked a size smaller (small), and was still disappointed in the fit - too loose fitting to be of help.
I am an active person. I sew, garden, and work clay handbuilding, although my knuckles can get swollen, mostly they just hurt after hard work. My hands are not at the stage where fingers are twisted or really swollen. I wanted something to aid and support when I am working to manage swelling. Decided to get the 'real' thing with support gloves. The 'small' size is still not a good fit. They have a 'little' squeeze to them but not enough to actually be helpful and supportive to the muscle when you are doing a great deal of handwork (sewing, gardening).
The open tips might be nice for finger work but if they slip down too far to be of help to upper knuckles its no good. Mind you, I'm not looking for something that makes my fingers go red because of closed off circulation! But if they slip down into the finger wells they aren't much use. The material itself is thin enough for comfort. I'm typing with them on right now.
I sewed the seams tighter and that helped a 'bit'. I may try other brands but this is just not enough support for me.
