Customer Rating: Summary: Love the system, but improvements could be made Comment: I love the lotus system. I use the spray bottle every day and the mop about once a week. I'm thankful that there is a mop that works with the system, however it takes quite a bit of muscle to push. I don't know if that's because of the microfiber mop head or the design of the mop. For a while I thought it might be the angle that I'm pushing it at as I'm short at 5'2". However, my husband who is 6'1" had the same difficulties. It simply takes a lot of strength to push. The mop isn't heavy, but the mop head grips the floor in such a way that it's tough to move-- I guess that's part of how it picks up dirt.
The mop head itself works well. It takes some effort to put it on the mop and get the corner seams in the right places. If they aren't lined up, then the mop pulls to one side similar to when a car is out of alignment. Customer Rating: Summary: Mopping made easier Comment: I really don't like cleaning but I got the Tersano and I don't mind mopping as much. There are no chemicals, the cloth is reused and it doesn't change the color of my slate floors. The only thing are the rag versions of these leave too much lint reside. I assume the mop cloths do the same but I don't get close enough to the floor to know. Customer Rating: Summary: Great mop cloth and other uses too Comment: These mop cloths are great as is the Lotus mop and water ionizer. These mop heads can also double as foot mops. My kids and I love mopping with the mop (and it's great with the ionized water because it really cleans and because it's chemical free - I don't have to worry about my kids getting it on them!) But the best part about these mop heads is that my kids and I put them on our feet (I am a women's size ten and my daughter is a kid's size 11 - they fit her like flip flops) and we can go all over the house wiping things up with our feet. Strange use, maybe. Excellent product, yes.
I saw in another review someone mentioned about the microfiber cloths leaving lint and I had never experienced this with the cloths or the mop heads. It is important to note that microfiber cloths should be laundered and dried separate from anything else, because the pickup power of the microfiber will pick up lint from other items you are washing if combined.
