Comment: I bought this before my daughter could sit up on her own. It was great for that and more! It helped her learn to sit up and kept her in one spot. The toys are great and my daughter still likes it today and she's almost 1 now. She likes to climb on it and still plays with the toys. It was a great buy and I recommend it! Only con is the cover is not removable for washing. That would have been so wonderful for thorough cleaning!

Comment: My 5 month old really enjoys this product. It gives him the freedom to sit on his own with a little extra help. I believe it is also preparing him to sit with out any assistance. This was also a great price.

Summary: OK toys if you can actually get your baby to sit in this activity 'bolster'
Comment: My husband and I tried to get our daughter to sit in this 'bolster' on her own since she was about 4 months and gave up when she turned 6 months. Like the last reviewer's baby, ours keeps arching her back and tips over the entire thing. She is not a skinny baby (about 70th percentile) and can't fit her legs in the opening, thus, can not possibly sit facing the book. We can only put her in this 'bolster' with her back to the book and other toys and have to hold her as she keeps tipping over. Absolutely useless 'toy'. Would not recommend.

Summary: It doesn't work for my 6 month old twins
Comment: This might be a good seat for other babies, but it doesn't work for my 6 month old twins. My son is big for his age(30in 22lbs). The openning is too small for his chabby legs. My daughter fits fine. But she would arch her back and get out of the seat easily. They both like the toys that come with the seat. But the toys are not worth the $25 I paid.
