The important role of music in Erin's life full awoke in 1990, while studying for her Masters Degree at the University of Hawaii. She explored both music theory and performance there, touring throughout Hawaii as part of a keyboard ensemble. At that time she began composing her own work, drawing upon her deep personal connection to the islands. Her debut release, Hour of the Pearl, represents a hard-won personal triumph for Erin in her pursuit of Spiritual Truth. "Every song comes from my soul", says Erin, "a place deep within." Of her second album, Feather on the Breath of God, Erin says: "From what I have experienced, I can confidently say that there are no wounds too deep for the delicate love of the Holy Spirit to heal. There are no addictions too big for the Holy Spirit to remove. And, there are no chains too thick for the sword of the Spirit to break through."
