Comment: I was very skeptical about this before I tried it. I have African American relaxed hair and its super thick, coarse, and can get dry easily. I wasn't sure if this product would be strong enough for me, but decided to test it anyway. My hair was sooo soft after I tried it. It definetly recovered my hair and made it so full of moisture. I recommend this to anyone who has coarse and dry hair, this is one thing that really works! You might have to use a little more product (that's what I did) but it's worth the money.

I am a hair product connoisseur of sorts, always looking for the very best products for my hair and I have tried many. My hair is naturally dry and then I highlight and straighten it which makes it worse. It is also very thick, long, wavy, coarse, and can become very frizzy. Joico Moisture Recovery Treatment Balm has made its way into my regular hair regime (which is not easy to do) because it does such a great job on my hair. This is truly a wonderful conditioner and if you have thick, coarse, frizzy, dry or unmanageable hair... TRY IT! The second I put it in my hair my hair feels like silk and it is completely detangled. It makes my hair very soft and reduces frizz... not to mention that it smells GREAT (a fresh clean smell, lightly perfumed).
