Editorial Review:
Maxiglide is the revolutionary, multi-patented styling appliance that makes traditional flat irons irrelevant. It is the result of almost seven years of research and development. The design of its detangling pins, steamburst system, ridges and groves, and ceramic technology create smooth, shiny, straight hair in just minutes without blowing the hair smooth first. Maxiglide will take your hair from frizzy to straight in one step, with one tool. Straightening hair has never been easier with the arrival of the MaxiglideTM. The ergonomic, streamlined handle fits perfectly in your hand and makes styling easy, not tiring. The design of the steam burst system, pins, channels and ceramic technology creates smooth, shiny, straight hair in just minutes, without blowing the hair smooth first.

Customer Rating: Summary: Works great! Comment: It works really well on my daughter's hair - no frizz and she loves it. Customer Rating: Summary: Disappointed in product and seller Comment: I saw the MaxiGlide and Conair steam straighteners advertised on TV with money back guarantees. So I decided to purchase both from Amazon.com and put them to the test. My intent was to find something that I could use to go from curly dry hair to straight hair, i.e., skip blow drying straight first. I followed the DVD instructions and the MaxiGlide failed miserably. It took just as long to straighten curly hair as it does to blow drying first, then flat iron. It took too long and the straightening didn't hold when I went outdoors. Then I tested the MaxiGlide vs. Conair on hair that I had blown dry. The side of my head where I used the Conair was so much better, that I re-straightened the MaxiGlide side with the Conair. So I decided to return the MaxiGlide only to find out that it is not returnable to seller - "As Seen On TV Guys". I didn't realize I hadn't purchased directly from Amazon. How did I miss their return policy??? You have to click "Page Down" 14 times to find the refund policy. There's no way I would have made the purchase had I known it was not returnable. What a rip-off! Customer Rating: Summary: Just what I'd hoped for! Comment: I purchased the Maxiglide hair straightening system from Bed Bath & Beyond for $79.99 (after using my 20% off coupon). I rarely invest this much in items for me, but the product saves me so much time in the morning that every dollar was well worth it. I have long, thick, frizzy hair and was able to smooth it all in 20 minutes. Now my kids are using it. I am not disappointed!
