Customer Rating: Summary: Hey it works Comment: Nothing groundbreaking here. This reader works just as needed. While I don't do this, there is room inside the cap to store an SD card. It's a nice touch. Customer Rating: Summary: Reader turns any SD card into a USB Flash Drive! Comment: What more can I say? Just take the SD or Micro SD card with adapter from any phone, camera or MP3 player and put it in the Blue Proton card reader. Voila! Instant flash drive that you can upload/download music, picture, files to. Customer Rating: Summary: Good idea, bad BlueProton built Comment: The combination items are great, the Secure Digital SD it's excelent, but the BlueProton Card R/W it's not built very well. Mine start opens in the middle. Customer Rating: Summary: Very handy! Comment: This little thing is great! I've only used it a few times, but it's made loading pictures onto websites when away from home EASY! Before I would have to use my camera's software on my home computer -- load them off my camera onto my computer, then upload them to which ever site. Now, I can just pop this thing in and put in the disk and presto -- there are the files.
Really wish I knew about this when I was traveling -- instead of waiting to share photos when I got home because I had no way of taking them off my computer without the camera software, I could have done it when I was away.
And getting a 2G disk with it too, that was a nice bonus. Customer Rating: Summary: Works As Advertised Comment: Slide your SD card into the back and it works just like a USB thumb-drive. It feels a little cheap, so I wouldn't attach it to your key chain, but it gets the job done.
