Comment: I got this as a Christmas present in 2007 and I havn't been able to stop playing since. The games for this system are great and the exclusives are very well developed. Having the option to upgrade using 3rd party software and hardware is also great, although it can be confusing. All around this is a great system that is pretty easy to operate and it makes a great media hub.

Summary: Blue Ray Player - Internet Access and Gaming All In One
Comment: I bought this last year for the Holidays and it has not disappointed. I got a good deal on this on Amazon, and the price hasn't changed (gone lower) since I made the initial purchase. I don't get good customer service from Sony, but the Play Station has not given me any problems. I am getting a Netflix subscription this month, and I learned that unlike the Xbox 360, the Play Station does not have a compatible interface to take advantage of the Netflix library of on demand programming. I think Sony is probably trying to protect their own market share in the home entertainment rental arena. The internet browser is responsive and better then I expected. As a Blu Ray stand alone player, it was a great value at the time, and given the gaming and internet features this is a fun box to have in your entertainment system.

Summary: PS3 Great game system
Comment: I give this 5 stars! We bought this in Jan 08.Today is 11/19/08 and it still works great,no console flaws to date. The only glich we have experienced is on ps2 games it looks for a shock controller that doen't exist. All you have to do though is hit o.k.(x) a couple times. We use our ps3 numerous times a week. Game time 8-20 hrs a week. Dvd and BlueRay time 20 hrs a week. As far as the compatibility issues all of our ps1 and ps2 games have worked fine. I have to admit though I am a casual gamer and media person. So I can't tell you about online gaming.

Summary: Never buy a video game system again
Comment: This product is very fun. I have had this system working for a year and 2 days. Warranty is only good for a year. This system won't read any discs and it would cost 150 dollars plus shipping to fix it. Nice going Sony.I guess they are just like microsoft. I don't know. I think I might just get out of this business because it's pissing me off.
