Summary: Not really accurate...
Comment: I gave three stars for the affordability of this product and it works fine after 2 years. But it will not give you an accurate blood glucose reading. A few times I did the kit and a hospital blood test on the same time, same day, and I always have to ADD 10 to AccuCheck's reading compared to my actual lab results. So that's what I always do now, plus 10.

Comment: We have beene using this gadget since 2002. Its durable and has been working fine all this while. The instrument gives a very rough estimate and hence if you need a exact figure you may have to average out the values. Overall I have been recommending my family and friends this instrument.
