Customer Rating: Summary: It protected my son Comment: I added a picture of our care seat above. It is a different color but the same model. I never write reviews but felt compelled after we were in a car accident. We were stopped and a car hit us from behind at 35mph. The car seat didn't budge an inch!
We got this one because our first one (different brand) never felt secure. This one was easy to install and fits secure with no movement when pulled. It doesn't have a lot of comfort padding but he never complains about it. When we go on a long trip I use a feather pillow to support the side of his head when he falls asleep.
Before the accident I would have rated this 4 stars but after the accident it gets all 5 because it protected him so well. Customer Rating: Summary: Great product at a great price Comment: This carseat is great! We wanted a seat that would match the interior of our car without overwhelming it (spacewise). This seat definitely does that. Even with the seat installed, 2 people can still fit comfortably in the back seat of our 2000 Nissan Altima. This seat recieved very high safety ratings and for the price, you can't beat it. Installation is moderately easy. We have had to move it between different cars at times which is not too hard or inconvenient (unless you live in a place with scalding heat, like Arizona). After the first install, reinstalling it in another car is a piece of cake. Overall I would highly recommend this carseat. Customer Rating: Summary: Excelente Compra!! Comment: Excelente silla para niños. Qué más se puede pedir... La compramos hace 1 año para nuestra hija de 3, y nos ha ido super bien. Es muy segura y confortable a la vez para un niño de su edad. RECOMENDADA.- Customer Rating: Summary: Not the worst for your bucks Comment: Product does what it says. Your child will love to face foward like everyone else. Is a booster seat so you don't have to upgrade at each stage of your childs development. Straps get twisted daily but they are functional. Easy button to adjust straps for summer and winter outfits. Careful not to pinch baby's inner thighs with the seat clasp (red button thingy). Not a bad dealwith a three point harness. Customer Rating: Summary: meets our needs Comment: We've been using this seat for a year. This seat is okay. It could use a little more padding in the seat but my son seems ok for short trips. He fidgets a lot on long rides. The straps twist easily but it's also easy to fix. I love the easy recline feature but it doesn't go back far enough for his head not to sag some when he falls asleep. It seems most are this way. Since we live in a "seasonal" area I like that I don't have to re-thread the straps when going from a winter bulky coat to spring jackets and summer T's also as my son grows. It wipes clean fairly easy but I almost lost my mind trying to take the cover off to fully clean the 1st time.(I've seen MUCH worse) It wasn't hard to put back on though and is easier now that I've done it a few times. I also think it's fairly easy to take in and out of cars. We use the latch system but even when we used the belt it wasn't too difficult Of course it's always been in an SUV or van. My son is kind of small so he was able to pull his arms out of the straps once after pushing the chest plate down (quickly remedied) but that was my fault for not having it snug enough after taking his coat off. Overall it's been great for us and we'll be using it for many years to come.
