Summary: Audio Quality Doesn't Justify the Price
Comment: I found the audio a bit dampen. It's not as crisp as the Audio Technica ATH-ANC3 which I own. In fact, I found that to have better audio quality, at about 4 times cheaper the price. Yes, it looks cool but you're really buying it for the audio ability.

Noise cancellation is excellent, via ear buds. It's even better than my Audio Technica, which is using active noise canceling mechanism.

It's mandatory to test it before you buy.

Listen for yourself. Compare it with other earphones.

Reviews can be misleading because people have different standards for audio appreciation.

Summary: Shure SE530s: Not that Good.
Comment: They're bright and transparent but lack in depth because of minimal bass. My UE Super Fi 5 Pro IEMs sound way more full-bodied and balanced. I'm not asking for "booming" bass, just, well ANY bass! I shelled out $300 and change for these "cans" and I feel robbed, to be honest. And the cheap wire that loops over the ears feel as if it's gonna break apart. Also, the sleeves are a pain when it comes 'twisting and pulling' them off.

And their weight is a joke: They feel like earphones you'd buy in a discount dollar store; cheap, crappy, 'MADE IN CHINA' junk. And after a few hours of using them, I'd experience a discomfort behind both of my ears, because Shure decided NOT to use a flexible-metal to fold their cheap wires around both ears. I will be selling these "things" ASAP, for they are an absolute rip-off of the up tenth³ degree.

And for you people giving these "things" a 4 and 5-star rating, well, you're living in a blissful world of naiveté--simply trying to justify your purchase by denying the fact that these "things" are garbage.

They're not worth $500. Hell, they ain't even worth $200--maybe $100. The sound that you get, for the price you pay, is not worth it.

Don't buy 'em, people!

Summary: Worth every penny!!!
Comment: WOW! What a difference qualitiy makes. I have used earbuds from several different manufactures, V-Moda Vibe, Maximo i-Metal, etc. Nothing can compare to the Shure SE530's. I have never heard sound like this before. I tend to listen to Heavy Metal and find these are perfect for this. All the base you could want with perfect balance between the high and low ends. I will never go back to anything less.

Comment: This headphone is simply amazing. Since many people have touched on details about the headphones, may I just say that this IS the BEST one I've tried so far! I've owned isolating headphones as follow; Etymotic ER-6 > Shure SE200 > Ultimate ears Pro 5 > then finally Shure SE 530!!! and yes, it is THAT nice...I feel like I'm in heaven when I have these cans on me outside! lol I don't need any other headphones but my AKG K701 for home, Shure SE530 for outdoor! Thanks to technology!
