Comment: This item was purchased as a second meter for my backpack. I have one I use daily and have found it to be easy and accurate to use. I purchase a second meter to put in my backpack so I would not forget it and be without a meter when on a Backpacking trip. The meter does everything I need and is very easy to use as well as being compact and rugged. Summary: Wonderful for the parents of a type 1 diabetic
Comment: THis makes checking ketone levels so much easier. Just a small blood sample and we have a farely accurate reading for ketone levels.
If only the test strips were not so expensive, it is a wonderful and useful tool for the parents of type 1 diabetics or probaly all diabetics.
