Summary: Great Starter Guitar
Comment: I bought this as a second guitar to my main guitar because it was a great price by a very reputable brand. I've had it for a couple months now and can say the following:

* Great starter guitar because the price is very reasonable and it still feels and plays like a quality guitar.

* The finish is a nice solid black (non-metallic). The gold trim on the pickguard and tuning pegs give it an upscale look.

* The guitar shape is almost identical to it's more upscale Washburn "idol" series.

* The picks and guitar strap were pretty good, no complaints. I wish it came with a gig bag for the guitar though.

* The instrument cable hasn't had any problems so far.

* The action is pretty typical for a beginning guitar right out of the box. Not very low, but that is probably good considering many beginners will be buying this guitar.

* Out of the box, there was no fret buzz and every fret plays quite smooth so far.

* Overall great guitar package, and the authentic autograph by "joe trohman" on the guitar is a big plus too.
