Comment: After using this product I immediately experienced an increase in my heart rate. I had to lay down on my couch to recover and the symptoms subsided after about 1 hour. My wife uses this product to stay awake during her graveyard shift. I will never take this again!

Summary: Warning: May worsen heart rate, high blood pressure, insomnia
Comment: URGENT: We tried the cranberry version and the ruby lemon honey (immune defense) version. They tasted great but caused very serious heart-related symptoms!

Important caveat and warning for people with high blood pressure, heart problems -- something in the ones we took cause heart rates to increase, flutters and/or palpitations in some people -- maybe not all -- but at least three people (all who took it) in our family started experiencing increased heart rates, irregular heart rates, high blood pressure, sleep disturbances! We measured it on my mom's blood pressure monitor and all three went sky high -- dangerous levels!

I have a feeling there may be ephedra or something similar that is not listed -- I would bet many of the ingredients, especially the C (synthetic C ascorbic acid is mainly produced in and) are from China. BE CAREFUL BEFORE YOU USE THIS PRODUCT. AT THE VERY LEAST PAY ATTENTION TO INCREASES IN HEART RATE/BLOOD PRESSURE, INSOMNIA, ETC.

Once we stopped taking the product, the problems started to subside. Something is wrong with the ingredients in the ones we took and I wouldn't be surprised to see a recall soon.

If you want something similar that does not seem to cause these problems, and thus I feel is safer and has a better track record for immune building/cold prevention/cold fighting you might want to try Airborne instead. I've never experienced the heart problems/insomnia with that product myself.

Be careful and be sure to pay attention to your heart rate, blood pressure and insomnia reactions if you use this manufacturer's products!

Summary: Read this is you travel by plane frequently
Comment: I travel a lot for work and a year ago I started coming down with colds and flu every time I got on a plane. I was told that the air in the airplanes is recycled but now filtered so you end up breathing all sort of airborne things. A Doctor recommended I took one of these before getting on a plane and since then I have never gotten a cold or flu like illness when I travel. I take it at the first symptoms of a cold and next day they are all gone. Also, if you have more than a few drinks, take one of these packets with two glasses of water before going to bed and wake up like nothing happened. I highly recommend this product.
