Primarily used for managing chronic pain. Works by blocking the pain signal, and by increasing endorphins in the body. Can be worn all day or on an as needed basis. Device features include adjustable pulse rate, pulse width, and amplitude (intensity). Placement of electrodes are usually at pain site or along the nerve channels, called dermatomes. Comment: This product works as advertised. I was pleasantly surprised that it even came with the 9V battery - thats a nice touch.

Somehow it turned itself on and killed the battery. I think I must have bumped it and it restarted the 30 minute timer again. I will be more careful next time. If it happens again I will remove the battery between uses.

Comment: I'm a big shopper on Amazon. This has got to be one of my best purchases. This little machine is a star! In Dec. after I had a torn labrum and hip arthiscopic surgery, I was in alot of pain. Still am. I've had 3 different theropist and the last one used this machine on me. I couldn't believe I found this so cheap. I use it 2 or 3 times a day and what a difference it's made for me. No more co payments!!! This machine pays for itself.

Comment: I bought this in December of 2007 and has been working like a charm ever since, I use it when I get severe back and neck pain it really has been a live saver I saw one at my chiropractors office and thought if I bought one maybe I could save money by seeing him less and just using this, I still need to go to him for adjustments but it has made it so I only need to see him once or twice a year which this item has basically paid for itself, beats paying 100 dollars to see my doctor every month the settings feel great just wish there was more variation in the type of therapy since there are only 3 modes would be nice if there were different modes since I have gotten use to most of the therapies and need to turn it up high in order to get some pain relief from this item. other then that its good if it works for you.
