Summary: not an exact replacement for the original prefilter
Comment: These prefilters are not the exact replacement for the originals in my Honeywell F50F. The aluminum mesh has larger openings and the filter does not fit snugly, thus allowing particles to go around and through the prefilter. The aluminum frame is flimsy. I returned it for a refund but I am out the shipping cost both ways.
I found much better (but also more expensive) prefilters and charcoal postfilters at Bel Aire ([...]).

Summary: Great price, not as fine as original
Comment: I was encouraged to find replacement filters that were more affordable. When I received them, I was disappointed to find that they were not the same density as the originals that I received from Honeywell. These filters would allow coarser materials to flow through, and potentially go into the furnace. Overall, the filter was decent quality, just don't expect them to be the same as the originals.

The company was very willing to work with me, and did accept them back as a return.

Summary: Honeywell Replacement filters
Comment: I had been shopping for Honeywell Replacement filters and the prices were always very high. I was a little leery of purchasing these at such a lower cost and some of the other reviews were not all that great. I went ahead and ordered them. They arrived in a timely manner and in good shape. Others had complained about them not fitting, but mine new ones slid right in place. I saved the paperwork and intend to order them again in the future.
