Comment: I have used Spike, for years. As many other people say, it is getting hard to find. I use it on everything, from meat to salad. It's a major staple, at my house. I am really running low, and did a search, for Spike, on the internet, and found it here, at Amazon. I was getting frantic, that I was going to run out, and not be able to find it. Ha! We just can't do without it. It's the best seasoning on the market!

Summary: "MUST HAVE" seasoning blend for the gourmet chef.
Comment: Excellent seasoning used on meats, chicken, fish, vegetables and the best seasoning for vinaigrette dressing. For one 12 oz. package mixed salad greens with carrots (re-rinsed and drained) add tomato, cucumber, celery as you like. In a cup, add 1 tablespoon olive oil, 2 tablespoons wine vinegar (or apple cider vinegar), 1 rounded teaspoon Spike and blend well, pour over salad and toss to coat, adding sea salt and fresh ground pepper to taste. Everyone loves this dressing! I'm always asked to bring the salad to parties. Unlike a number of other seasoning blends, there is no MSG in Spike.

Summary: One of my favorites - use it on everything!
Comment: I discovered Spike's All-Purpose seasoning at a local grocery store a few years ago and have been using it consistently ever since. I have found that I can use it almost anywhere I would have used plain salt. Spike has a nicely balanced mixture of flavors - none of the constituent ingredients overpowers the others. The list of ingredients is quite lengthy, but I've been able to use Spike with both sweet and savory foods.
