Summary: Not Your Daddy's Supergram III
Comment: I have taken Supergram III for twenty years, but gave it 3 stars because of a significant change in price.

Once upon a time, Supergram III came in a 260 tablet bottle that cost somewhere between 11 cents (discount) and 15 cents (retail) per tablet. The ingredients were listed per single tablet.

The current Supergram III comes in a 180 tablet bottle that costs bewteen 12 cents (discount) and 19 cents (retail) per tablet. THE INGREDIENTS ARE NOW LISTED PER SERVING AND A SERVING IS TWO TABLETS.

Therefore, if you want a gram of Vitamin C as mineral ascorbates, the lable says you have to take two tablets, which means it now costs between 24 cents and 38 cents per dose compared to the old price of 11 to 15 cents per "DOSE".

I can only go by the label, and there may be something else going on here that isn't clear to me; however, the labels say what the labels say.

To further confuse the issue, some "ingredients" are now double strength or greater if you take two tablets, such as Vitamin-E and Iodine; some are lower strength, such as selenium and MSM (which is missing); and most are the same strengh (plus or minus).

So, it looks like it's kin to the old product, but it costs over twice as much per "dose".

Summary: A life-saver during cold and flu season!
Comment: I lucked out and got this for $9.99 at a local store last year, but when I run out, I'd pay full price for it because of how well it works.

Comparible to Source Naturals Wellness Formula, this Emergen-C product is fairly friendly to my digestive tract (I have ulcers and ulcerative colitis, so this is always a concern of mine...), and seems to keep the seasonal bugs at bay when I take 2 pills 2x's a day.

I highly recommend this product to all my frienda and family.
