Comment: This battery works beautifully in my PPC-6700. After a year of using my old battery, it began dying in the middle of the day despite charging it the previous night. This new battery holds a charge for up to 3 days depending upon my usage (I'm not a big phone talker, but I text a lot and talk a little bit too, as well as send/receive email).

I highly recommend this product to other owners of the PPC-6700. The battery I received had a "UT Starcom" label on it, who are in fact the makers of the PPC-6700.

Summary: BULGED and SMELLY battery will not fit
Comment: This battery came bulged... to even get it into the charger, I had no choice but to remove the batteries label to make it thin enough to fit. During charging it has a strong odor of chemicals coming from it... When trying to fit the battery in the phone I have to push it in very hard twords the connectors--seems the battery is not only bulged but to wide as well.... then I had to bend the batter door to get the bulged battery covered. The fun really began after trying to remove the battery again from the phone... being too wide it was very difficult to remove--I was afraid breaking my phone. I am MUCH happier with the extended battery I purchased at the same time from some other seller on Amazon--Wont ever buy one of these extremely low quality batteries again. Bleh!

Comment: Battery received was as advertised and is functioning perfectly. My only request would be that the seller offer more than one shipping mode. I needed the battery for my cell phone before I went to a training class out of state. Needless to say the battery arrived at my house while I was in the middle of my training, which did me no good. I almost ended up buying another battery so I would have one for my trip but plan on getting a new phone in June so did not need two.

Summary: Dekcell Battery for Verizon XV6700
Comment: I've been using my XV6700 with the new Dekcell battery for some weeks now and it has continued to charge quickly and hold its charge very well. My XV6700 had been under-performing for quite some time, primarily due to the battery. It wasn't just talk time, either, the 'computer side' of the phone really didn't cope well with the power issues. After purchasing and installing the Dekcell battery, all of those problems either disappeared or were drastically minimized. I have to say, I'm very pleased with the battery, especially considering its low cost.
