From the UK-based company’s innovative The Ball line of vacuums, the Animal model best enjoys a bevy of features and tools to specifically conquer pet hair. Additionally, the vacuum demonstrates superior mobility, actually rolling on a ball for 360-degrees of twists and turns. The vacuum’s 10-amp motor is mounted within the ball for a low center of gravity while the cleaner head pivots to manuever furniture legs and corners.

Dyson crafted the vacuum in durable ABS and polycarbonate materials. The direct-drive brush bar uproots embedded debris from carpeting but benefits from push-button shutdown to prevent damage to delicate rugs or hardwood floors. The vacuum’s Root-8 Cyclone technology powerfully sucks dirt through the spacious channel for deposit in the see-through .71-gallon dustbin. To empty a full bin, the user need only push a button and hold the bin over a trash receptacle, eliminating minimal physical contact. A permanent, washable HEPA air filter ensures that collected allergens stay contained inside the vacuum. As a result of filtering, the released air contains 150 times less bacteria and mold. A built-in telescopic hose system allows the user to tend to stairs and curtains. The provided airflow nozzle assists in retrieving dust from crevices, while a low-reaching floor tool attaches to the hose to clean underneath beds and coffee tables. For stubborn pet hair, a mini-turbine head attachment powerfully sucks hair from upholstered furniture, rugs, and other pet-frequented areas. The Animal model also includes a carpet care kit to manage hairballs and other unsavory accidents. The vacuum’s power cord spans 37 feet, with a 51-foot maximum vacuum reach. A 90-day manufacturer’s warranty covers this item. Made in Malaysia, the vacuum measures 13-2/3 by 11-2/5 by 44-1/10 inches and weighs approximately 20 pounds.

Comment: Factory-Reconditioned Dyson DC15 The Ball Animal Vacuum Have never sent a review on anything I've ever purchased before but felt like I needed too for acouple reasons. First off I have never purchased anything on the internet before over the cost of maybe $50.00 so this although it was a good price I was alittle nervous about not being able to see and touch first what I was buying. And I have to say Amazon did exactly what they promised to do and I received the Dyson DC15 The Ball Animal Vacuum(Factory-Reconditioned) and am I thrilled,I've had it now for about a month and it is Wonderful, it does a better job than I could of dreamed and having two big(spoiled) dogs in the house it makes cleaning so much easier. I would and will tell everyone how happy I am with my Dyson vacuum and the service I have had with Amazon. Great experience all the way around. Thanks Terri

Comment: In a good way! I absolutely love my Dyson Animal Ball! I have come home every evening and gone floor to ceiling in a room! For me to WANT to vaccum, is saying a lot!

With all of the on-board attachments and the included Add-ons, there is nothing that you cannot do, short of dusting and windexing, of course! There is a crevice tool that has vent holes to keep from sucking curtains in. There is a brush attachment, which I have used for my blinds. There is a low-floor tool that I use to go under the sofa and beds.It also comes with a carpet-care kit, complete with spot-remover, carpet powder, and grooming brush.

I have saved the best attachment for last, the mini turbine tool! I have a 120-year-old couch that fluffs dust every time you smack the arm. I attached the turbine, pulled the lever to turn on the beater bar, and went to town! It works on stairs, pillow, and mattresses, too!

Wothout the attachments, this machine works wonders. I filled up the bin vaccuming the dining/living room, then another in the bedroom/bath, and I had just vaccumed! The ease of movement ia really smooth with the Ball.

Comment: I absolutely love my Dyson. It's easy to use and it manuevers really well. I got a dog 3 months ago. My old vaccum cleaner would not even pick up the hair he left on my rugs and carpets. So I compared the different vaccum cleaners Dyson had and decided on the DC15 the ball animal. It came with different attachments to pick up the animal hair on different surfaces. I haven't used them yet because it does such a great job without the attachments. All of the dog hair is gone. I would highly recommend this vaccum cleaner to anyone not happy with other ordinary vaccum cleaners.
