Customer Rating: Summary: Love at First Sleep Comment: As soon as this pillow arrived, I pulled it out of the box and laid down on the floor to try it out. The moment my head settled into the cradle in the middle, I felt my whole body say "Ahhh!" This is a wonderful invention and I am so grateful for whoever designed it. I have terrible neck problems and I previously thought I was doing some good by sleeping on a Tempurpedic Neck Pillow. But that was always hard, uncomfortable, and I would wake up with pain. However, with the Therapeutica Pillow, I wake up with no pain! I love it! It didn't take any time at all to adjust... the only thing that took a little getting used to was having to actually travel across the bed while rolling over to get to the right spot on the pillow, instead of just rolling in place - if that makes any sense.I think my husband secretly looks forward to nights when I'm traveling so that he can use my Therapeutica pillow. ;) I'll be getting him one for Christmas so he won't have to steal mine! :) I am considering getting one for each of my parents as well because I have come to love it so much. I HIGHLY recommend it! Customer Rating: Summary: Great for neck or back pain Comment: Despite the funny look of the pillow, it has been great in resolving some neck and back pain I've had recently. It was easy to get used to sleeping on and it's not at all uncomfortable. It's tailored to back and side sleepers so keep that in mind. Well worth the money! Customer Rating: Summary: DIFFICULTY IN FINDING THE RIGHT PILLOW? GET THIS ONE! Comment: Spent a lot looking for the right pillow. My neck never seemed to be positioned the right way and I usually got a slight headache by the time I woke up or worse: a stiff neck. I have 2 Tempur-pedic pillows in different sizes and shapes, very expansive dawn pillows and 2 different sizes and densities of Dunlopillo latex foam ones (very fancy English brand known for their pillows worldwide). Of course my husband makes fun of me, Mrs. Pillow... He couldn't believe I was buying another... PILLOW! I'm glad I did. I had plenty of reasons to be skeptic at first but the awsome design/shape and quality of this pillow proved me wrong. I slept like a baby the night I got it. Then I said to myself that's maybe because I was too tired. The subsequent nights I slept great too. It's the pillow that works! Never had to get used to it, it's super comfortable. I like the fact that it fits a regular pillow case as well. I think that part of the success is because it's of uttermost importance that you take the time to mesure the distance between the base of your neck and tip of the bone (humerus) on your shoulder (muscle or fat doesn't count; we are talking about bone here). My pillow size is petite however anybody who looks at me would says I'm pretty much average size woman. I read in one of the reviews that the average size pillow would fit most everybody. Not really, that might be the reason some customers didn't get used to it in the first place. Check up above (customer image) for my size chart. That said, my husband told me I still snore... a little...
UPDATE - May 27, 2008.
I took the time to update this review because I owe it to this product and because my husband insisted that I had this update done. He says that ever since I wrote the review I've been snoring less and less each night. Till the point that I don't snore at all, wich means he doesn't have to move to the guest bedroom in the middle of the night. I guess that the more you use it, the more you get used to it and the more your body responds to the right position while you sleep. Plus, I've always had problems stretching my left shoulder (I sleep on my left side mostly) then the other day while I was stretching I've noticed that the pain on my left shoulder was gone! All due to poor posture!
UPDATE - June 11, 2008.
Turns out, I suffered from sleep apnea and didn't know it. Can't believe I need less hours of sleep (about 2 hours less) and don't find myself tired in the middle of the day. I just purchased another pillow for my house down in Brazil. Sooo happy with this pillow!

Customer Rating: Summary: Goodbye memory foam, hello Therapeutica. Comment: Goodbye memory foam, hello Therapeutica. After trying various brands of memory foam, from really hard to mushy squishy, and trying other kinds of orthopedic shaped pillows that wore out really fast, and trying that water pillow which was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever slept on, I decided to take the plunge and dish out the bucks to get this pillow. Yes, it is a weird shape and looks odd on the bed next to my husband's regular pillow, and yes, it is really different than anything I've ever owned before, but after a few nights on it, I discovered something: The reason I never used to sleep on my back is because the pillows I've used in the past did not make back-sleeping comfortable to me. This pillow is very comfortable for back and side sleeping, although it was apparently not designed for stomach sleeping because supposedly that is not good for your back. Well, to get straight to the point, after trying this pillow, I'm a believer. I was glad to read in another review that these pillows never wear out, but in case this one ever does, I will do my best to acquire another one of these treasures. I don't worry about how this pillow looks on the bed; I just think about how good my back and neck feel after a night on it.
