Comment: I bought this for my husband since he works outside in the sun all day long. His only complaint was that it melted after only 20 minutes. It's great for around the yard because you can switch to another frozen pack at home, but at work you can't.

Summary: Disappointing
Comment: Good idea but poorly designed. A couple of modifications brings the rating to 3 stars. A looped tag inside the cloth impedes putting the ice pack in. Scissors fixed that. Item is held together with velcro, not sewn very good and itches like crazy. Take the velco off and just tie it around your neck. 45 minutes into my evening walk and it is cooler with it off than on.

Comment: Hubby and I were surprised, and delighted, to find out that these ice bandanas actually do work quite well. With temps hovering around 100, we gave them a try and found they were quite cooling. They don't fit up close enough to the neck to be the greatest help so we just clipped them up tighter with a plastic bag clip and that worked just fine. The backup gel packs we got made switching them out for longer periods very easy.
